Choose a male or female support worker
Comfort comes first. When you book, simply tell us whether you'd prefer a man or a woman for the visit and we'll match you accordingly — and we'll keep the same person coming back wherever we can, so it's always a familiar face at the door.

Mix and match anything below in a single visit — there's no need to book separate people for the errands, the housework and the yard.
Errands & shopping
Groceries, prescriptions, the post office, returns and pick-ups — done for them, or together with them.
Driving & appointments
A ride to the doctor, the pharmacy, the hairdresser or a family visit, with a hand at the door on both ends.
Friendly visiting
Company, conversation, a walk, a card game or help with the phone and computer. Regular visits, same familiar face.
Wellness checks
A scheduled check-in to make sure all is well at home — and a short note to family after every visit.
Light housework
Tidying, dishes, laundry, bed changes, fridge clear-outs and general upkeep to keep the home comfortable.
Home safety & repairs
Grab bars, better lighting, smoke alarm batteries, rug and cord hazards, and the small fixes that prevent falls.
Seasonal & outdoor help
Lawns, leaves, snow, gutters, garden beds and putting out the bins — the jobs that get harder each year.

Live far away? We're your eyes on the ground, with a simple update after each visit so you always know how things are.
The HouseMan Cares provides non-medical support only. We don't offer nursing, personal care or medication administration.
How it works
Tell us what's needed
Set up an account and share the tasks, the schedule and your preference for a male or female support worker.
Pick your times
Book single visits or a recurring weekly check-in through the calendar in your portal.
We visit and report back
Actual hours are invoiced after the visit, and family gets a short update on how things went.

The HouseMan Cares uses the same rates as the rest of our services.

$65/hr
$74/month membership · 1-hour minimum · priority booking and on-call access — ideal for regular weekly check-ins.
